Johnny Hoyle established the Cadillac Rodeo Company in 1997. In the beginning they produced primarily youth rodeos and open bull ridings. Since that time, Cadillac Rodeo Company has grown to producing and providing livestock at over thirty professional events a year including Cowboy Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) events. The Hoyle family is no stranger to the sport of rodeo. In the 1950’s and 1960’s Joe (Booger) and Bill Hoyle were competitors in both the Turtle Association and the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA). During the 1970’s and 1980’s, sons Johnny and Jim pursued the family’s rodeo legacy in the PRCA rough stock events. Cadillac Rodeo Company has received some of the most distinguished and coveted awards given by the Cowboy Pro Rodeo Association. In 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2007 they received the “NEW Rodeo of the Year” award. They also received “Rodeo of the Year” award in 2006 and 2007. In 2007 Cadillac Rodeo Company was given the prestigious award of “Stock Contractor of the Year” at the CPRA finals. Cadillac Rodeo Company’s outstanding string of livestock has also won numerous awards Twenty-five head of livestock were nominated to the 2007 CPRA finals! Among those award winners are “Tar Baby” 2003 Bull of the Finals; “Bo Diddley” 6 time CPRA Finals Bronc and CPRA Saddle Bronc of the year for 3 consecutive years; “Jack Rabbit” 2007 CPRA Bareback Horse of the year and Johnny and his son, Wacey, are committed to continuing the family tradition through production of top-notch professional rodeos.
